Rainy Wednesday With Storm Chances Remaining High Through Friday in Area

An over 60 percent chance of rain is in the First Alert forecast with highs in the low 90s

South Florida will be trying to keep from overheating while dodging raindrops this week in your First Alert Doppler 6000 forecast.

Umbrellas will be in high demand Wednesday across South Florida with rain and storm chances staying high for the rest of the work week.

Deep moisture is funneling into the area and we will see more rain on your Wednesday. An over 60 percent chance of rain is in the First Alert forecast with highs in the low 90s.

A few of these storms could become strong and bring heavy rain & gusty winds. Highs today will end up near normal around upper 80s to low 90s. 

The elevated rain chances linger into Thursday with the best chance of rain focused in Broward with a 60% chance of showers & storms.

By Friday, chances are down to 40% with most activity favored towards inland areas. Brighter & drier conditions in the picture this weekend. Highs each of the next 7 days will be near 90.
