Flood advisories issued Wednesday morning expired just after 12 p.m. or parts of Broward County, after rounds of rain flooded roads.
Heavy rain was expected as these storms hit the region, and the National Weather Service forecast minor flooding. At least one driver could be seen getting out of their stranded vehicle in Fort Lauderdale.

The areas impacted include Fort Lauderdale, Miramar, Pembroke Pines, Plantation, Cooper City, Pompano Beach, Boca Raton, Deerfield Beach, Lighthouse Point, Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, Oakland Park, Hillsboro Beach, Sea Ranch Lakes, Pompano Beach Airport and Terra Mar.
