The cold air has officially arrived with widespread 40s and 50s taking over early on Wednesday.
We’ve already dipped to 48 degrees in Fort Lauderdale and 51 degrees in Miami, making for the coolest morning in roughly two years. This is courtesy of a northwest wind that looks to continue for a couple of days.

High temperatures will come in on the fresh side, too, with numbers struggling to get into the low-70s both Wednesday and Thursday.

Look for a brief temperature snap back Friday afternoon and into Saturday before yet another front slides through.
