We are about to embark on a gorgeous weekend and a gorgeous forecast all around, with the exception of next Wednesday and Thursday.

Wednesday’s cold front allowed our humidity to drop a bit. Friday’s cold front will bring refreshing weather this weekend.

Ahead of the front, you may notice temps and humidity are on the higher side Friday afternoon, but it will feel completely different by the time you wake up on Saturday morning. We are forecasting zero rain chances all weekend.

Tropical Storm Sara comes with many question marks, but we are leaning toward "less" impactful, not more impactful.

Of course, there is still a lot of time for the forecast to change, but a cold front, plus land interaction across the Yucatan plus the fact that the Gulf is not scorching as it would be in the middle of summer should limit the impacts.

At this time, our forecast is for a brief period of heavy rain Wednesday and Thursday, but timing will be determined by the front and what’s left of Sara and where it goes.

It could be a wetter Wednesday and a drier Thursday or vice-versa, but a tropical storm directly over South Florida is not looking likely and the coolest air of the season for the entire East Coast, including Florida is what we are hoping on Thursday and beyond.
