This morning is mild around the area with temps in the low to mid 70s under partly cloudy skies. There are a few showers around the upper keys but nothing widespread.

Unfortunately, the dry skies will not last. Breezy conditions continue today with a few scattered afternoon showers. There is a chance for a few showers during the Taylor Swift concert tonight. The chance for rain increases after sunset. It won’t be a washout but there will be passing downpours. Highs today reach the mid 80s and lows tonight fall back into the mid 70s.

The windy conditions last into this upcoming week. There will also be low chances for a few showers off and on this week but there is a ridge of high pressure that will help limit the amount of rain we see.

Tropics:

The high-pressure ridge will also help block Hurricane Oscar from tracking west. Hurricane Oscar is a category one storm that will make landfall in northeastern Cuba. The steering winds will then pull it back to the north and east. The hurricane is forecast to weaken back into a tropical storm and move away from the islands. It will run into sheer, so it will be harder for the storm to keep its strength.

Tropical Depression Nadine is falling apart as it tracks south and west across Southern Mexico. The remnant low will enter the Pacific and if it regains strength it would take on a new name from the Pacific list as it will be in a new Basin.
