Rafael is now in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico, but it’s still responsible for the lingering breeze.
While not as gusty, you’ll still notice winds gusting above 20 mph in some spots on Friday, especially near the coast and across the Florida Keys.
This will keep the rip current risk running high along with a moderate chop on Biscayne Bay.

The weekend starts off on the sunny side, but look for more showers to return Sunday and into early next week. Rain chances will play out in the 30-40% range.
