Meteorologist Steve MacLaughlin has the latest forecast Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2025.

The strongest cold front in about two years is now south of the area. Tuesday’s official high temperature of 71° happened just after midnight because the cold front came through overnight…But the "afternoon" high of 61° makes this Miami’s coldest afternoon since December of 2022!

As far as low temps, tonight we’ll range from 46-51°, a few degrees higher in the Keys. Wednesday night will be the coldest, 45-50°. If we drop to 51° of colder in Miami (54° is the coldest so far this season), that would be the coldest low temperature since January of 2023.
