Southbound express lanes have reopened on Interstate 95 at Opa-locka Boulevard (135th Street) after what Florida Highway Patrol reported as a major crash early Friday morning.

The circumstances surrounding the crash, which happened at around 4 a.m., and the conditions of any victims were not immediately known.

NBC6 has reached out to FHP to learn more. 

Other lanes remained open, but to avoid the scene altogether drivers were advised to take U.S. 441 as an alternate route.
