The city of Fort Lauderdale held a 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony on Wednesday morning.

The U.S. is remembering lives taken and others reshaped by 9/11. Wednesday marks an anniversary laced with presidential campaign politics.

Being a “9/11 family” reverberates through generations, and commemorating and understanding the Sept. 11 attacks one day will be up to a world with no first-hand memory of them.
