WATCH: Julien Alfred wins 100m gold, shocks Sha'Carri Richardson

St. Lucia won its first ever medal at the Olympics Saturday. It came via track athlete Julien Alfred, who stunned Sha'Carri Richardson to win gold in the 100m in Paris.

Reigning world champion Sha'Carri Richardson came in with a time of 10.87, behind Julien Alfred of Saint Lucia, who came in with a time of 10.72.

Track and field star Richardson was widely considered the favorite, where she is the reigning world champion.
