The high-powered Lions, sitting atop the NFC North at 8-2, fell to 8-3 after being upset by the division rival Green Bay Packers, who improved to 5-6.
The league's other Thanksgiving mainstay, the Dallas Cowboys, had better luck against the Washington Commanders. History was made when Cowboys cornerback DaRon Bland reached the end zone for his fifth pick-six to break the single-season record in the 45-10 blowout victory.

On Black Friday, the New York Jets hosted the Miami Dolphins in an AFC East clash. The Dolphins walked away with an easy 34-13 victory.
The Sunday slate offered 11 games, with the early portion of the schedule offering intriguing matchups like the Jacksonville Jaguars winning at the Houston Texans and the Pittsburgh Steelers triumphing at the Cincinnati Bengals, who were without quarterback Joe Burrow.

In the four-game late-window, the NFC-leading Philadelphia Eagles hosted the Buffalo Bills and the AFC-leading Kansas City Chiefs headed to Sin City and beat the Las Vegas Raiders.
The week concluded with the Minnesota Vikings losing to the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football.
