Man Sues Sox Over T-Shirt Cannon

Is a T-shirt cannon a danger to fans, or harmless fun for baseball fans?

A man from Northwest Indiana thinks it is, and is suing the White Sox over it.

David Babusiak claims he was injured by fans who were jostling for a shirt launched into the stands at The Cell, the Post-Tribune reported.

He is seeking $75,000 in damages.

Babusiak's lawyer said the White Sox, U.S. Cellular Field and the Pride Team, which launched the T-shirt, were "engaging in an abnormally dangerous activity, namely, shooting free T-shirts as projectiles into an unsupervised crowd of spectators, some of whom may not have been sober."

We wonder if Babusiak would have sued if he'd actually gotten the shirt.
