There are a ton of things going on in the world of soccer right now. Sorry, but the fact that West Ham United signed Savio Nsereko is slightly trumped from an American perspective by the latest news from David Beckham.
On Tuesday, the strongest indication that he might not return to the Los Angeles Galaxy from his short-term loan at AC Milan came out. Milan management stated they're willing to pay a transfer fee if Beckham can negotiate a way out from his MLS contract. The third year of the five-year contract signed in 2007 begins in March.
