Girl Puts Quarter in Gumball Machine, Gets Blood Pressure Pills
A New Hampshire mother said she is still in shock after she put a quarter in a gumball machine and got a plastic container of pills in return. Courtney Jones gave her daughter, Allyson, 7, a quarter to put in the machine Friday night at the Rochester House of Pizza. The prize did not have candy inside. Instead, she found medication. “The pills weren’t narcotics,” said Rochester Police Lt. Todd Pinkham. “They appeared to to be blood pressure pills.”
