In the cold open for this week’s episode of ‘Saturday Night Live’, Alec Baldwin returned as a troubled President Donald Trump, bothered by the looming conclusion of special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation. Cecily Strong appeared — and then disappeared — as Melania Trump.

Kate McKinnon offered some advice as Rudy Giuliani, and Baldwin's Trump called up his old friend Michael Cohen, played by Ben Stiller. Trump got jealous of the bromance between Vladimir Putin, played by Beck Bennett, and Saudi Crown Prince Mohamed Bin Salman, played by "SNL" veteran Fred Armisen.

In the monologue, actress and host for the evening Claire Foy compared the “chaos” of Britain and the U.S. Foy spoke about when she met the queen of England and also said that she is lucky to have the opportunity to portray strong women in many of her films.

In the Weekend Update, hosts Colin Jost and Michael Che poked fun at Trump for his relationship with former attorney Michael Cohen. Jost touched on the dynamics between Vladimir Putin and Trump, and Che spoke about Paul Manafort and his alleged visits to Wikileaks founder Julian Assange.

The musical guest this week was R&B artist Anderson .Paak, and the artist played two of his popular songs, “WHO R U” and “Tints.”
