Video shows end of police pursuit that ended in crash, 2 in custody in Miami-Dade

A police pursuit in Miami-Dade Tuesday, ended with two people in custody.

A police chase ended in a crash and foot pursuit with two people taken into custody Tuesday night, officials said.

The pursuit started shortly before 8 p.m. when officers spotted a red BMW at Northwest 17th Avenue and Northwest 73rd Street that had been carjacked on Sunday, Miami-Dade Police officials said.

Police tried to pull the car over, but the driver took off before eventually crashing at Northwest 12th Avenue and Northwest 54th Street. Three people bolted from the car on foot, police said.

Video provided by "Only in Dade" showed the aftermath of the pursuit. In the video, a large police presence can be seen near the intersection where the crash happened.

Two people, including the driver who is underage and a passenger, were taken into custody, police said. One woman still remains at large.

No injuries were reported.

Police haven't released the identities of the suspects or said what charges they face.
