The 62-year-old woman who was attacked by an American Bulldog in Miami Gardens Friday remained hospitalized Saturday, family members said.
Lucrecia Pupo was visiting a friend when the dog jumped a fence and bit her at 18430 Northwest 42nd Place, Miami Gardens Police said.

Pupo was bit in the scalp, shoulder and hand, and the bulldog's owner also received puncture wounds, police said. Officers and animal control workers responded to the scene.
Pupo was rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital. Family members released a photo of her recovering Saturday that showed her face scarred and bloody.
