Surveillance video shows thieves scrambling to steal Wynwood smoke shop safe

Authorities said the safe contained vapes and cigars worth between $2,000 and $3,000.

Police are looking for the three men caught on surveillance video stealing a safe and thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from a Wynwood smoke shop.

City of Miami police said the theft happened at around 3 a.m. Friday in the area of Northwest 2nd Avenue and Northwest 31st Street, when the thieves broke the front window of the B'escents business.

They took the safe and threw it to the first floor from the second floor. Video shows the masked men scrambling to load the large safe onto the bed of the truck.

Authorities said the safe contained vapes and cigars worth between $2,000 and $3,000.

Employees said they arrived at work Friday morning and found the front door shattered and thousands of dollars worth of products gone.

"They had destroyed a lot of stuff," one employee told NBC6. "People work hard for their business, for someone just to come and take something from someone that works hard for their things."
