A well-known political blogger in South Florida is behind bars, charged with the attempted murder of his sister's boyfriend.
Javier Manjarres, 43, known for his political blog, "The Shark Tank," is accused of attacking his sister's boyfriend, Jason Holowinski, 36, and breaking his nose in the parking lot of a Boca Raton shopping plaza last weekend.
Police said Manjarres' sister and her boyfriend had an argument, in which Holowinski allegedly grabbed her by the neck. Holowinski told police that Manjarres fired three gunshots at him as he attempted to drive away.
Manjarres is being held at the Broward County Main Jail without bond. It's unknown whether he has an attorney.
