Talking Baby Doll Causes an Uproar With Parents

Is your child's doll cussing? Some South Florida parents say yes, while others say no

A talking Toys R Us baby doll is causing an uproar among South Florida parents, with some parents saying the dolls are cussing and others saying no, they aren't.

Some people think one of the Toys R Us "You and Me Play and Giggle Triplets" is saying the words "crazy b**ch" when she finishes giggling.

The Play and Giggle triplets start babbling when a censor senses motion. The back of the box reads the dolls "encourage girls to laugh and share kindness." But not all agree.

Right now, Toys R Us is not taking the dolls off shelves saying it is just baby babble and not profanity, but NBC Miami wanted to find out what parents thought.

"That is so bad," one said after hearing the doll. "That is so wrong."

"I heard the b-word, but I didn't hear the crazy part," a woman said.

But some parents disagree, and think people are only hearing what they are listening for instead of taking it for the baby talk it's supposed to be.

On the Toys R Us website, a daycare provider weighed in on the doll posting: "Oh no, they didn't just curse!!!" Then she goes on to write: "One of the triplets sound like she's saying you crazy b**** right after she laughs. Other people heard them and said that's exactly what she is saying. To make a long story short, they're taking a trip right back to the store."
