Smoke from a wildfire that was burning in western Broward County led to a stretch of U.S. 27 being shut down Sunday night.
U.S. 27 was closed between Interstate 75 and the Broward/Palm Beach County Line, National Weather Service officials said.
The smoke from the fire was covering the roadway and reducing visibility, officials said.
