A small plane was forced to make a rough landing on a dirt road near Everglades Holiday Park in Broward County Wednesday.
Officials said the Piper PA28 plane landed on the road west of Pembroke Pines and northwest of the park, about three miles west of U.S.-27.
A teacher and his student were on the plane heading back to North Perry Airport when the engine cut out and they were forced to land, officials said.
Footage showed the back end of the plane off the road and two people who were on board standing nearby.
