Three 19-year-olds were injured in a drive-by shooting as they were leaving a pool party at the Arium Resort in Pembroke Pines, police say.
The apartment complex is located at 11801 Pembroke Rd., and authorities quickly blocked off the 1900 block where the shooting took place.
"One was shot in the neck," said Pembroke Pines police officer Al Xiques. "One was shot in the leg and the other in the abdomen."
Pembroke Pines police responded to the gunfire around 5:30 p.m. on Sunday.
"It's believed that the victims were definitely at the pool party," Xiques said. "They were walking to their vehicle from the party. It's unknown if the suspects were at the party or not."
Teenagers attending the party say there was a crowd of over a hundred people. The Arium Resort pool was packed with mostly rising seniors looking to kick off the summer.
Police say the teens were leaving Arium Resort when a white four-door SUV pulled out of the same apartment complex, heading westbound in their direction. Investigators believe there were possibly four or five black men in the vehicle at the time.

"They started shooting at the subjects that were walking on the sidewalk," Xiques said.
The teens tried to take cover, but were hit by the bullets. One victim was able to run away, but three others - Carlos Smith, Deondrey Oakley and Robert Mitchell - were trauma alerted to Memorial Regional Hospital.
The suspected vehicle was last seen by a witness at a Burger King off of Hiatus Road and Pines Boulevard.
Police are searching for a white Chevy Cobalt, white Toyota Camry or white Honda Accord.
Police believe several men involved in the shooting are expected to be in the vehicle.
"We want to identify these individuals," Xiques said. "They are a danger to our community."
