One of the runways at Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport was temporarily closed Friday afternoon after a seaplane was forced to land without its landing gear.
The plane was able to skid to a stop on the runway without its landing gear after it did not lower.
Two people were on board the seaplane, but no one was injured.
Earlier in the day, also at Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport, a Cessna 402 made a rough landing when part of its landing gear collapsed. No one was injured in that incident as well.
