A scary situation took place Thursday morning in southwest Miami-Dade when a school bus crashed into a pole.
The crash happened around 8 a.m. near Kendall Drive and South Dixie Highway in Pinecrest.

WATCH HEREChopper footage showed the front of the bus badly damaged after slamming into the pole.
Florida Highway Patrol said no students were on the bus at the time of the crash.

Pinecrest Police officials the driver wasn't injured.
The crash knocked out the traffic signal, and Florida Power & Light crews responded to the scene to make repairs.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
