Police investigate crash involving school bus in Miami Gardens

A school bus was involved in a crash in Miami Gardens that didn’t injure any students but left two other people hospitalized.

Police and fire rescue crews responded after a school bus was involved in a crash in Miami Gardens Thursday morning.

The crash happened in the area of Northwest 17th Avenue and Miami Gardens Drive.

Miami Gardens Police said there were around seven children on the bus but none were injured. They were later transferred to another school bus.

According to police, the bus was making a left turn when it was clipped by a Chevy Equinox, which caused the Equinox to flip onto its side and hit another car.

The driver of the Equinox and a passenger were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The passenger was in serious condition, police said.
