The woman who came to be known as Bo "The Party Animal" Griffin died Tuesday following a short battle with intestinal cancer.
Bonita "Bo" Griffin co-hosted the "Mindy and Bo Morning Show" on Power 96 during the 1980s and '90s, turning it into one of the most popular shows in South Florida.
Griffin, with an unforgettable voice and sense of style, also worked at WEDR, HOT 105 and did entertainment reporting on WTVJ-NBC6. She later moved to Los Angeles, became a business owner and clothing designer.
The Greenville, SC, native appeared on "Good Day Live" and guest-hosted the Game Show Network's "GSN Live." She also hosted the travel series "Blue Ribbon" on Turner South and the home makeover show "The Big Reveal" for HGTV.
Griffin was engaged to be married. She was 51 years old.
