Powerball players in South Florida are giddy with the possibility of fattening their bank accounts, as the jackpot continues to grow ahead of Saturday's drawing.
"I'm feeling lucky," said Andrea Moffitt, who purchased a ticket at a Chevron gas station in Miramar.
The chances of winning the estimated $600 million prize: 1 in 175 million. It's the largest jackpot in Powerball history.
That hasn't deterred people across South Florida from lining up at gas stations and grocery stores Saturday. The potential payout has many people fantasizing about what they would do with their newfound wealth.
"I will pay for my son's college," said Powerball player Ernst Eloi.

Saturday's monster jackpot is pushing the largest in lottery history, which tells a cautionary tale about that so-called lottery curse.
"What I would not do with it is go on a shopping spree and buying things that I don't need," Eloi added.
If no one ends up holding the magic numbers Saturday night, an even bigger prize will be waiting Wednesday.
