Two people were shot early Friday morning in yet another police involved shooting in Miami.
It all happened during a traffic stop in the area of 75th St. and Miami Ave. That's where relatives say 28-year-old Travis McNeil and his 30-year-old cousin Kareem Williams were leaving Take One Lounge when police approached their vehicle.
Some type of confrontation ensued and both men were shot. McNeil died a short time later at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Williams was also rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital where he was reportedly in critical condition.

All of this was a tough blow for those close to the victims.
“All I want is some answers, I just want to know what happened," said McNeil's mother Sheila. "I can’t see what they could’ve done sitting in a car with no weapons for police to open fire. I don’t understand it.”
McNeil leaves behind a 10-year-old son.
“It’s senseless, it’s really senseless," said McNeil's brother Ron Robinson. "I don’t know what to say, I wasn’t expecting to hear police killed my brother. It’s sad. It hurts, it really hurts."
Williams' family said they're hoping he pulls through.
"It is always unfortunate, when our officers must resort to this," Miami Chief of Police Miguel Exposito said in a statement. "As is the norm, the Miami Police Department will be thoroughly investigating this police shooting along with the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office."

The Take One Lounge was the scene of a police-involved shooting less than a month ago, on Jan. 20.
Police said in that case officers encountered a man who refused to drop his weapon, and they were forced to open fire.
