A South Florida man is behind bars after police allege he pimped out a teenage girl out of a Hialeah hotel in 2015 – all while he was in a Miami-Dade jail on a separate charge.

Edward Lee was booked Wednesday on several charges that include human trafficking and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. The 42-year-old is being held on no bond.

According to a police report, Lee kept communication with his girlfriend while he was behind bars and ordered her to force the 14-year-old victim into prostitution out of the hotel off Okeechobee Road in May of that year – instructing her to keep the teen inside the hotel room since she was a runaway.

The woman told Lee via telephone she thought the victim looked too young, to which Lee allegedly said to put more make up on the teen while also giving her marijuana as a way to increase her appetite because the victim looked “very petite.”

Lee allegedly told his girlfriend to keep all the money made by the teen – after she reportedly performed sex acts on six different men over the next day – and bring it to him in jail, threatening both women with physical violence if they didn’t obey him.
