Two people were airlifted to the hospital after a possible drive by shooting in Northwest Miami-Dade.
Chopper 6 was over the scene inside a parking lot near Miami Gardens Drive and NW 47th Avenue, where reports of shots being fired were called in shortly after 10:30 a.m.
Miami-Dade Police spokesman Alvaro Zabaleta said officers found one victim in a black SUV that had been shot multiple times while another victim was found in another car nearby.
Both victims were taken to Ryder Trauma Center, where their conditions have not been released. Zabaleta said investigators are looking for a black SUV and white BMW that was seen fleeing the area.
