Police are investigating a deadly early morning shooting that left a man dead inside the lobby of a Miami apartment building Thursday. NBC 6’s Steve Litz has the latest.
Police are investigating after a car crashed into the front of a home in Davie Thursday afternoon.
The crash happened at a home in the 9300 block of Old Orchard Road. Footage showed the car on its side, partially sticking out of the home, with police officers and firefighters at the scene.

Davie Police officials said the driver was removed from the car and had minor injuries.
The residence was evacuated and no one was injured inside the home, officials said.

The homeowner, Perla McMasters, said she was in her home office when the Hyundai came barreling through.
"I thought it was a bomb really," McMasters said. "The car was in the house, it was nerve wracking because the top had been sheered off, so I just called 911 immediately."

Witnesses said the driver may have had a medical issue and blacked out, losing control of the car.
Police are investigating the crash and fire rescue crews were evaluating the damage to the home, officials said.
