Boynton Beach Police say two men are in custody following a tri-county police chase that started in Miami Gardens, went through Broward County, and ended in Boynton Beach.
According to police, two robbery suspects took off from Miami Gardens driving a red Volkswagen Jetta and headed northbound on Interstate 95.
Both Miami Gardens Police and Broward County Sheriff's Office were involved in that chase. The car hit two vehicles and became disabled just before 5:00 p.m.
Police took one of the men into custody immediately. The other jumped a wall and took off running through a residential neighborhood.
That man was apprehended by Officer Joe Crowder along with K9 partner, Daxxx, who spotted the man hiding behind a house on Northwest Second Court in Boynton Beach.
Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the earlier crash.
