Miami-Dade Police are looking for a pair of persistent thieves who were caught on video breaking into a home two days after they first tried to burglarize it.
According to police, the two men first tried to gain entrance to the home in the 3500 block of Southwest 139th Court on Aug. 31.

After that attempt failed, the pair returned on Sept. 2 and were able to gain entry to the home through the rear French door, police said. The suspects left through the front door with stolen property.
Surveillance video captured two vehicles that stopped in front of the house just before the burglary, and captured the suspects walking up to the home with T-shirts covering their faces.
The homeowner, who did not want to be identified, said that when his family came home from vacation, they could not believe what they saw on tape.
He said the suspects took jewelry worth $19,000 to $20,000, and a television system worth another $10,000.
“It’s unsettling for me as a neighbor, knowing that it happened right next door," David Martinez said. "But ever since it happened, we’ve been looking out a lot more."
The vehicles are described as a light-colored BMW and a light-colored Jeep Cherokee. Anyone with information about the cars or suspects is asked to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
