Palm Beach Airport Reopens After Bomb Scare

Palm Beach International Airport is reopened after it was evacuated because of a suspicious piece of luggage was found.

Palm Beach County sheriff's spokeswoman Teri Barbera said Friday afternoon that the bomb squad safely removed the luggage, which was found unattended near a baggage carousel. It was not immediately known what the luggage contained. 

Palm Beach International has about 100 departures daily from 28 gates. 

Airport spokeswoman Casandra Davis did not immediately return a call seeking comment.
