A Southwest Miami-Dade home was completely destroyed after a late night fire that took crews hours to put out.
Chopper 6 was over the scene near Southwest 251st Street and 153rd Avenue, where the charred remains of the home could be seen from above.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said the two alarm fire originated on the patio and spread to the inside of the home, fully engulfing the structure. No one was inside the home at the time of the fire.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
The home is on the 20-acre property of an event venue called Paradise Found, which advertises itself for weddings, private parties, photo shoots and other events.
The property features a lake with a cascading waterfall, two luxury log cabins, a large gazebo in a private garden, and the property’s centerpiece: a large white estate, with a grandiose pool, according to the website.
