A man accused of stabbing his girlfriend and another woman to death in a Miami high-rise is facing murder charges, police said.
Franklyn Delanoy Williams, 46, was arrested Wednesday on two counts of first-degree murder following the gruesome discovery at the Paraiso Bay at 650 Northeast 32nd Street in Edgewater, Miami Police officials said.
According to an arrest report, Miami Police officers responded to an apartment at the building after being contacted by Homeland Security Investigations on Tuesday.
When officers arrived, they found the two women stabbed multiple times in a bedroom, the report said. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
Police later identified the victims as 35-year-old Sophia Simpson and 27-year-old Gabrella Griffith.
Williams told investigators he had been the boyfriend of one of the women for about 10 years and that the other woman lived in the apartment with them, the report said.

The redacted report said a knife was found at the scene, but a motive wasn't made clear.
Williams was being held without bond Thursday, jail records showed. Attorney information wasn't available.
