Authorities in Florida issued a missing child alert for a 9-year-old girl from Fort Myers early Monday.
Diana Alvares was last seen Sunday in the 3500 block of Unique Circle in Fort Myers, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
The girl's mother tells the News-Press that Diana wasn't in her bed in their mobile home later that morning.
Alvares is about 4-foot-5, 95 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
The sheriff's office says Diana's disappearance "does not meet the criteria" for an Amber Alert.
The News-Press reports that Diana's school, San Carlos Elementary, issued a statement asking parents to call authorities if they have any information.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call 911.
