Miami-Dade Judge Given Harsh Punishment for Cursing at Store Owner

A Miami-Dade County judge has been punished for cursing out a convenience store owner.

Jacqueline Schwartz has accepted a 30-day unpaid suspension and $10,000 fine as part of her punishment.

Judge Schwartz earlier agreed to a public reprimand and apology letter, but the Florida Supreme Court suggested that she needed a harsher punishment.

Judge Schwartz told the Coconut Grove store owner to "Go f--- yourself" in dispute over a campaign sign.

she was also found to have interfered with a case-file by writing notes on the margin that were only available to one of the parties to the lawsuit.
