Miami-Dade Police were investigating a reported bomb threat Monday morning at a Miami courthouse, which turned out to be a hoax.
Police evacuated the Richard E. Gerstein Justice Building at 1351 Northwest 12th Street around 8 a.m.
Someone overheard the word bomb being mentioned in a conversation between two people and police were called. The courthouse was evacuated as a precaution.
Shortly after 8:45 a.m., police determined the bomb threat was a hoax and gave the all-clear.
