The Miami-Dade College's north campus was evacuated Wednesday afternoon after a bomb threat was received, officials said.
"Personnel from Miami-Dade College advised police that they received an email advising of a bomb being place at the the college," said Det. Marjorie Eloi, Miami-Dade Police.
Footage showed people being evacuated from the campus on Northwest 27th Avenue. Officials said it was evacuated as a precaution.
Classes were canceled for Wednesday evening but normal operations were expected to resume Thursday morning, officials said.
Miami-Dade College activated various alert systems to advise students about the situation.
After an extensive search, authorities gave the campus an "all clear". It appears this was not a credible bomb threat.
