A man is dead after he was struck by a car and dragged for about a block in Miami Beach, police said.
The victim's body was found by a passerby at about 3:30 a.m. Saturday in the middle of 5th Street, according to Miami Beach Police.
There were no witnesses to the incident and there was no trace of a suspect vehicle, officials said.
Traffic homicide detectives said the victim was most likely dragged for about a block between Michigan and Lennox Avenues. Police said he was homeless and middle-aged, but did not identify him Saturday afternoon.
A suspect has not been located.
