A local social media group, "305 Cafecito," is celebrating March 5 as “305 Day” in Miami.
In honor of 3/05, a coffee gathering will take place at the Versailles Restaurant at 3:05 p.m. Wednesday. The first 50 people who attend will receive a free @305Cafecito T-shirt along with other surprises.
Those who can’t make it to the coffee meetup are urged to participate on social media by using the hashtag #305Day.
In April 2013, 3:05 p.m. was made the official cafecito time by the City of Miami.
