Man Struck and Killed While Riding Bike Near Miami Executive Airport: Police

Officers are investigating after a man was struck and killed by a car while riding his bike near a southwest Miami-Dade airport Monday morning.

The incident happened not far from Miami Executive Airport, located near Southwest 128^th Street and 137^th Avenue

Footage showed the man's body covered with a yellow tarp near the airport entrance.

Miami-Dade Police officials said the crash took place just before 6 a.m., when the victim was struck while riding his bike in the area. The driver remained on the scene, and officers have not released the victim's identity.
