A neighbor told NBC6 that he had just gotten home Saturday morning when he heard the gunshots, but didn't know what the sounds were at the time. Heâs lives one street over from Sheridan Street.
âLittle did we know in the morning, we got the news alert on NBC and we were like oh my God that's behind our house,â he explained. âKind of shocking to see that so close and near to home, especially with kids to hear gunshots.â
Local
The resident described the neighborhood as quiet. He, like many of his neighbors, is now concerned.
âSometimes there's altercations, there's way to work it out, gunshots is not the way to go, but some people resort to fix things in different ways and it's just unfortunate,â he said.
