Plantation Police are looking for a suspect who was caught on video robbing a gas station at knifepoint and threatening to stab a female clerk.
The incident occurred on Feb. 6 just after 5 a.m. The suspect, described as a black male, entered the Mobil Gas Station at 10261 West Broward Boulevard armed with a knife.
The suspect is seen on camera hiding from the clerk, then chasing her around the store to the back of the counter. Once there, he demands money from the clerk. He also threatened to stab her if she did not comply, police said.
"She didn't know what to do because the guy threatened her," said Sebastien Duroseau, store manager. "That's what we told her, don't fight, just do as they say."
The suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register, and is also seen grabbing a few other items from the store before running off.
He is a black male with a medium build. He has a fair complexion and is seen wearing a beard.
