Man fights for his life after being found shot outside Miami motel: Police

A man was hospitalized after he was found shot several times near a motel in Miami early Friday, authorities said.

City of Miami Police said officers responded shortly after 2:15 a.m. to a ShotSpotter alert of several rounds of gunfire at 5950 Northeast Biscayne Boulevard.

Police said the victim was found in the parking lot of Carl's Motel El Padre.
