Police are still searching for the driver who struck two college students early Saturday morning in a hit and run crash in Brickell, leaving both victims fighting for their lives. NBC 6's Carlos Suarez reports.

In January, Edelman opened up about his experience on the Wake Up The Sun Podcast with Matt Williams.

“I was completely independent, and then you lose all of that in the snap of your fingers,” said Edelman on the podcast. “… I knew we were in an accident of some sort, and things were explained to me. But looking back at it now … I’d say the first three to five days were kind of just a blur.”

Edelman is a dental student at Columbia University, and Greenfield is a student at the University of Miami.
