A woman was killed and several other people were injured in a crash involving a Miami-Dade Transit bus in North Miami Friday morning.
The crash happened in the area of Northwest 134th Street and Northwest 7th Avenue around 6:45 a.m.

Footage showed the damaged bus sitting next to a black vehicle that had severe front-end damage.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue officials said the crash was a head-on collision between the bus and an SUV, and said there were a total of seven patients.

Police later confirmed the crash was fatal. Authorities haven't released the name of the person who died but said it was a woman.
No other information was immediately known.
