A helicopter made a hard landing on a street in downtown Fort Lauderdale Wednesday. 

The helicopter, a Schweizer 269-C, went down around 4:45 p.m. in the 300 block of Southeast 2nd Street, FAA officials said..

Footage from the scene showed the helicopter just feet away from cars parked along the street.

Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue said two people were on board but neither were injured.

No other details were immediately known.
